Somewhere Is My Home

The bad news is that I haven't posted a new episode of Hold My Life for a few weeks. The good news is, I have a darn good reason for that.
A few weeks ago, just as we were moving into the new place, I'd noticed that one of my favorite webcomics sites, GirlAMatic, had opened the doors to submissions. In case you've never heard of them, GirlAMatic webcomics are geared towards a female audience.
I've always thought that HML would be a good fit for GirlAMatic, and always knew that it would benefit from reaching a larger audience. So, naturally, I was very interested in submitting a proposal, and put together a nifty little Flash proposal outlining the story and where it's goin'.
To make a long story short, Hold My Life has been picked up by GirlAMatic, and will debut in October with weekly episodes. That's right, weekly. I am so stoked.

Blogging From The Pit

Welcome to the inaugural Pit Blog. As I now have a fucking whoop-ass laptop, I can now blog from the bar, just like Warren Ellis. Productivity here at Karmic Calamity headquarters just skyrocketed.

With me are Barry and Greg, as well as architect guy. Say hi to the internet, Flappybats:

Barry: "Hi"

Greg: "Wow. Wait."

Anyway, nothing much of substance to say, drinking and all. Update imminent.
