Soundtrack 6-5-06: The Lonely Hearts

I found these guys on Myspace: The Lonely Hearts.

The Boston Phoenix described their sound as latent Opryisms buried
under layers of Counting Crows guitars, early-U2 grandeur, and Rock N Roll-period Ryan Adams.

I'd agree with that assessment. Somewhere in there, you can hear a bit of twang, but it's smartly mixed in with a very modern production that makes it sound very contemporary. Real nice stuff.

check 'em out at www.thelonelyheartsmusic, and also at www.myspace.com/thelonelyhearts.

Well, in my defense, I was really excited to post about the band... but it really was an accident.

I'll leave it anyway.
